“Confirmed” Galaxy S25 Edge Details Appear, 200MP Camera Tipped

Samsung teased the Galaxy S25 Edge during the first unpacked event of the year. This will become the company’s new extra-thin smartphone. As we’re waiting for its launch, some “confirmed” Galaxy S25 Edge details have surfaced online. Well, quite a few of them.

Tipster just shared “confirmed” Galaxy S25 Edge details

The information comes from PandaFlash, a tipster. He himself claims that these details are “confirmed”. The tipster says that the phone will feature a 12-megapixel camera on the front. Its bezels will measure 1.32mm all around, while Pro Scaler Support will be a part of the offering.

The Gorilla Glass Victus 2 will be included on top of the display, and an Armor Aluminum frame will be used too. The device will offer Wi-Fi 7 support, as expected.

Now, this phone will also come with a vapor chamber, but it will be a bit thinner than the one in the Galaxy S25. You’ll get 12GB of RAM as part of the offering, and an LTPO AMOLED display will be in use with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

The phone could include the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s main camera

The phone is, surprisingly, said to feature a 200-megapixel main camera. The last piece of information that was shared claims that 25W wired charging will be on offer.

So, based on this information, this will be a thinner Galaxy S25+, with the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s main camera, essentially. The display size was not mentioned here, but based on rumors, it will be around 6.7 inches, at least.

We’re still not sure when this phone will launch, but one rumor suggested it will happen in May. Samsung did kind of already show us its partial design during Unpacked, but the company did not share any specifics about the device. We’re also not sure how much it will cost, but chances are it will be placed in-between the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra in terms of pricing.
