The Google Pixel 9a is available at Amazon and almost any other retailer you can imagine. There are some great Pixel 9a deals available as well, but one of the advantages to buying from Amazon is the fast shipping and the fact that the phone is unlocked. Meaning that you can use it on any carrier you wish.
Amazon is selling the Pixel 9a in all four colors: Iris, Peony, Porcelain, and Obsidian. However, it is only selling the 128GB model. So if you’re looking for the 256GB option, you’ll want to look elsewhere, like the Google Store. With the Pixel 9a not getting as many AI features as the rest of the Pixel 9 series, the 128GB of storage might be enough for you, but if you’re on the fence, you might want to opt for the 256 GB.
The Pixel 9a is a great option for under $500
The Google Pixel 9a, while on paper it doesn’t look all that great, is actually a really great option for under $500. Especially in a world where the iPhone 16e costs $599. The Pixel 9a also has the largest battery ever in a Pixel device, with a 5,100mAh capacity battery. In our testing, we found that it outperformed every other Pixel we’ve reviewed, and kept up with flagships like the Galaxy S25 Ultra and OnePlus 13. In fact, it has a larger battery than the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Despite Google opting for a smaller sensor at a lower resolution on the Pixel 9a this year, the camera is still pretty good. Remember that Google has some fantastic computational photography chops, and it tends to work out better on smaller sensors. Like what the Pixel 9a sports.
If you’re thinking about grabbing the Pixel 9a, Amazon is a great place to pick one up. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get it anytime soon, as Amazon has it set to release on June 1, for some reason. So you might be waiting a bit, if you decide to grab it at Amazon.
