Roborock’s Saros Z70 is not just a robot vacuum, it’s a robotic butler that tidies up your home with its innovative object-moving robotic arm.
If you’re one of those who thinks that robots are going to take over the world one day, well, Roborock is one step closer. At CES 2025, Roborock introduced the Saros Z70, which is part of their new lineup of robot vacuums in the Saros lineup. The Saros Z70 sports a robotic arm that is able to move objects that are in its path. It’s a unique and very impressive feature, as I was able to demo it at Roborock’s booth this week at CES, which is why we are awarding it a Best of CES 2025.
Essentially, when the Saros Z70 comes up to something that needs to be moved, like a sock, the robot arm comes out, picks it up and puts it somewhere else that is out of the way. In the demo here at CES, Roborock is showing a sock being picked up and put into a basket. This means that while you’re away, you can come home to a clean and tidy home.
This is Roborock’s slimmest robot vacuum yet
Incredibly, the Saros Z70 is also the company’s slimmest robot vacuum yet. It measures 7.98 centimeters, or about 3.1 inches. That allows it to easily go under couches and other furniture. Roborock was able to do this by eliminating the LDS that sat on top of the robot vacuum. Instead, it is integrated into the body. Despite doing this and adding space for a robot arm, Roborock was able to make the Saros Z70 shorter without making the dustbin smaller.
On top of that, this is going to be one powerful robot vacuum, as Roborock is touting 22,000Pa suction power. That’s pretty incredible, considering just a couple of years ago we were looking at around 3,000-4,000Pa. Additionally, Roborock has included its AdaptiLift Chassis, allowing it to go over taller thresholds with ease. Not quite enough to go up and down stairs, yet.
This is why the Roborock Saros Z70 is worthy of AndroidHeadlines’ Best of CES 2025 award.
