The new iPhone 16 Pro Max is available to pre-order today from Apple, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and many other carriers. What we’re doing here is showing you the best pre-order deals that you can take advantage of to save the most on your new iPhone.

This year, there are some pretty good iPhone 16 Pro Max deals, especially if you’re trading in an older iPhone. The carriers are offering up to $999 off of a new iPhone 16 Pro Max, essentially getting you an iPhone 16 Pro Max for only $200 over 24 or 36 months, depending on the carrier. But that’s not going to be available for everyone.

So, what’s new with the iPhone 16 Pro Max this year? It is still a titanium phone and starts at 256GB of storage. Inside, you’ll find the A18 Pro chipset, along with at least 8GB of RAM (we don’t know how much yet since Apple doesn’t disclose that info). It also gains the new Camera Capture button, which will really revolutionize how you take photos and videos on your new iPhone this year.

It’s still starting at $1,199, but with the deals below, you can get it for much less.

Apple

Apple

Apple is offering up to $630 off the regular price of the iPhone 16 Pro Max when you trade in your current phone. Obviously, iPhones are going to bring in the highest trade-in value, particularly newer ones.

Apple also has the iPhone Upgrade Program and financing available. So you don’t have to pay the full amount today.

Best Buy

Best Buy is offering up to $540 off in trade-in credits. It is also offering a ton of freebies with your purchase. This includes three months of Apple TV+, three months of Apple Fitness+, four months of Apple Arcade, and three months of Apple Music for free.

AT&T

AT&T is offering the iPhone 16 Pro Max for as little as $5.56/month for 36 months with an eligible trade-in. That’s good for nearly $1,000 off. Not to shabby.

T-Mobile

Over at T-Mobile, if you’re on the Go5G Next plan, you can get the full $999 off for your trade-in, essentially making the iPhone 16 Pro free. However, if you’re on the Go5G Plus plan, it’ll be a max of $800, making it $400 out of pocket over the course of your financing.

Now, T-Mobile does things a little differently here. It splits up your credits. Giving you an instant trade-in credit of $380, and then bill credits of $619 or $420 depending on your rate plan.

Verizon

Verizon will also let you trade-in your current phone (as old as an iPhone 12) and get the iPhone 16 Pro for free. On the Unlimited Ultimate plan, that’ll be the full $999. However on Unlimited Plus, it’ll be $830 towards your new phone.

Like T-Mobile, Verizon is also splitting up the trade-in credits through Apple’s website. Where you will get $380 in instant trade-in credit. Then either $619 or $450 in monthly bill credits (spread across 24 months) depending on your plan.
