The new iPhone 16 is available to buy now, from Apple, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and many other carriers. We’re here to show you the best deals so you can save the most on your new iPhone.
This year, there are some pretty good iPhone 16 deals, especially if you’re trading in an older iPhone. The carriers are offering up to $799 off of a new iPhone 16 (or iPhone 16 Plus), essentially getting you a free iPhone 16. But that’s not going to be available for everyone. So what’s new with the iPhone 16 this year? Well, it gained the A16 Bionic chipset from the iPhone 14 Pro last year. It also gets the Dynamic Island, which debuted on the iPhone 15 Pro last year. And another iPhone 15 Pro feature comes along too, the new 48-megapixel main camera. This upgraded camera is going to give iPhone 16 users the ability to zoom in at 2x. Because it punches into the full 48-megapixel image.
This is all for $799, and yes, it is still a 60Hz display. There is no ProMotion this time around. Here are the latest deals for the iPhone 16.
Apple
Apple offers the same carrier deals, which is essentially a “free” iPhone 16 when you trade in your older iPhone. That’s an iPhone 12 or newer. But Apple does also allow you to finance through them, as well as the iPhone Upgrade Program.
If you finance through Apple, it’ll cost you $33.29/month for 24 months without a trade-in. You can trade-in a phone for up to $650 off your iPhone 16, however.
With the iPhone Upgrade Program, it’ll start at $39.50 per month for 24 months. You will be able to upgrade every year on this program and AppleCare is included – hence the higher price here. But you can’t trade in your old phone to Apple on the Upgrade program.
Best Buy
With Best Buy, you can get up to $830 off via trade-in, depending on what device you’re trading in.
With your purchase of an iPhone 16, you will also get Apple TV+ for 3 months, Apple Fitness+ for 3 months, Apple Arcade for 4 months and Apple Music for 3 months, for new and returning subscribers.
AT&T
You can get a free iPhone 16 if you trade in an iPhone 12 or newer. This will be done via bill credits over 36 months. So you’ll need to stick with AT&T for 3 years and if you leave early, you’ll forfeit any remaining bill credits.
T-Mobile
With T-Mobile, you can save up to $1,000 via trade-in.
Verizon
New and existing Verizon customers on the Unlimited Ultimate plan can get iPhone 16 Pro on us, or up to $1,000 off the new iPhone 16 lineup when you trade in any phone, in any condition. If you choose our Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Welcome plans, you can get $830 off or up to $415 off the new iPhone 16 lineup with trade-in, respectively.
Switch to Verizon or add a new line and get an iPhone 16 Pro for $10 a month for 36 months on Ultimate Unlimited, or $15 a month for 36 months on Unlimited Plus.
