Baseus is a company that makes tons of different tech products from charging accessories to small handheld vacuums designed for cars, and at CES 2025 it revealed some intriguing innovations including a new combo accessory that both charges your devices and provides you with internet connectivity.
If you’re unfamiliar with Baseus, a lot of what you might see are power banks. Devices like the Baseus Blade 2 have been a favorite of ours due to their ultra-slim design and high power output. If you head to the company’s website though, it makes tons of stuff. That being said, power banks and other such devices seem to be a majority of what the company makes, and what it specializes in.
One of the accessories it brought to CES this week is called the EnerGeek MiFi power bank. It’s a power bank with a 67W power output and a few charging ports, allowing you to charge up to four devices at the same time. Or one large device like a laptop. In fact, if you’re charging your laptop, then the EnerGeek MiFi can also give that laptop internet connectivity because it also functions as a hotspot.
Additionally, it can connect up to 10 devices at the same time and it’ll use 4G networks to connect them. In terms of compatibility, it’ll work with 4G networks in over 100 countries, including the US. As noted by The Verge, Baseus plans to launch this accessory sometime in April for about $90. That price is pretty on par with a few of its other charging accessories.
Baseus accessories at CES 2025 include a solar-powered security camera with 4K recording
While Baseus does make a lot of power accessories it also makes things like security cameras for the smart home enthusiast. Its latest offering is a follow-up to its 2K security camera. Called the Baseus Security S2, it will be solar-powered like the original. However, it increases the recording quality to 4K resolution instead of 2K. The solar panel also helps keep it charged. Which can help it stay powered on without having to plug the camera in.
Baseus will most certainly sell the camera on its own web store. It should also be available through its Amazon store, where most of the company’s other products can be found. At the moment though, Baseus hasn’t announced a price or a release date.
The company is also releasing a standard power bank with a 20,000mAh capacity
If you want just a regular power bank, Baseus has another one of those coming as well. It’ll have a 20,000mAh capacity and come with two integrated charging cables so you don’t need your own. However, it also comes with two ports so you can use your own cables if you want. Additionally, it has a display on the front so you can see the power output of the cable or port you’re plugged into. It has a 100W power output and will be available for $99.99 in April, the company says.
