
Google is rolling out Android 16 Beta 4 today to Pixel devices as the first release candidate build ahead of the consumer launch. It’s available now as an on-device OTA, with factory images not yet available.
Beta 4 is “the last scheduled update in our Android 16 beta program.” Meanwhile, the Android 16 Beta is “now available on handset, tablet, and foldable form factors from partners including Honor, iQOO, Lenovo, OnePlus, OPPO, Realme, vivo, and Xiaomi.”
Release notes are not yet available.
You can leave feedback with the Android Beta Feedback app on Pixel devices. Access it from the drawer or via Quick Settings to file bugs in the Google issue tracker. There’s also the Android Beta community on Reddit.
Android 16 Beta 4 (BP22.250325.007) system images with the April 2025 security patch will be available for the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8a, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel Pro Fold, and Pixel 9a, as well as the Android Emulator.
