Amazon is discounting the Galaxy S24 FE ahead of the Galaxy S25 announcement next week. Where you can find the 128GB Galaxy S24 FE for just $549, or the 256GB model for $609. That’s roughly $100 off on each model, making for a pretty good discount.
The Galaxy S24 FE is a slightly cheaper Galaxy S24, with a larger display this year. We’re looking at a 6.7-inch display, the Exynos 2400e processor, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also has a 4,700mAh capacity battery inside.
It launched with Android 14, and will be getting Android 15 pretty soon, as well as six additional Android updates. That’s right, the Galaxy S24 FE is slated to get seven years of updates, which is pretty incredible for a phone in this price range.
On the camera front, we’re looking at a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel telephoto and a 12-megapixel ultrawide. While the front-facing camera is a 10-megapixel shooter. In our review, we found that the Galaxy S24 FE cameras are actually pretty decent, though they are still a solid step down from the Galaxy S24 family.
This is a very solid phone that is going to get years and years of support and updates. So if you’re looking for something that’s nearly high-end, but at a lower price with plenty of support ahead, then the Galaxy S24 FE is a great option.
