Amazon and Best Buy have just dropped the price of the AirPods Pro 2 (with USB-C) it’s not just $169. That is going to save you $80 off of the regular price. It’s not quite the lowest price in the whole time, but it is very close. As you can see from the CamelCamelCamel graph below, it was at $153.99 during Black Friday. Other than that short period of time, $169 is the all-time lowest price for these.
These new AirPods Pro 2 don’t bring a lot of changes over the original second-generation model. The biggest change is Lightning to USB-C to match the iPhone 15, and of course, the EU’s demand for everything having USB-C. It also brings lossless audio, which is really impressive, but you’ll really only be able to use it on the Vision Pro.
When it comes to battery life here, Apple is claiming about six hours of listening time. That’s on a single charge; with the case, they are touting about 30 hours. So these should be able to get you through a good, solid listening session. And even for a flight from New York to San Francisco. There’s also an LED on the front of the case to indicate charging and pairing. There’s also a speaker there for Find My.
These are a great pair of earbuds that sound great as well. Obviously, if you’re an audiophile, these aren’t going to be the ones for you. As they won’t offer the very best audio quality on the planet, but they are good nonetheless.
