Acer has expanded its range of Predator Helio series gaming laptops by introducing the Helio Neo 16 AI and Neo 18 AI16 AI and Neo 18 AI. They feature up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 275Hz processor and offer up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU. Acer states that these laptops deliver “game-changing AI capabilities for players entering the next era of gaming with these accessible, power-driven devices.”

Acer has designed the new Predator Helio Neo laptops for gamers

Acer’s latest Predator Helio Neo 16 AI and Neo 18 AI flaunt a massive level of AI horsepower, thanks to the RTX 50 series GPUs. NVIDIA DLSS 4 technology equips them to generate images at unprecedented speed. Creators can unleash their creativity with NVIDIA Studio. Furthermore, Acer has loaded them with NVIDIA NIM microservices, which are state-of-the-art AI models. You can use these to build AI assistants, agents, and workflows with peak performance on NIM-ready systems.

Acer is offering the Windows 11-powered Helio Neo laptops with three months of PC Game Pass. It provides access to games on day one such as Call of Duty Black Ops 6, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Ara: History Untold, and titles from EA Play, said the brand. Both feature minimalistic designs with an RGB logo on the lid and dynamic 4-zone RGB keyboards.

Configuration options include a 2K OLED display, 64GB RAM, and 2TB storage

Interested buyers can configure the Acer Helio Neo 16 AI with up to an OLED display bearing a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. It is capable of delivering a 240Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time. You can configure the Helio Neo 18 AI to provide a mini LED 2,560 x 1,600 panel. It offers a speedy 250Hz refresh rate and 3 ms response time. Both notebooks also feature NVIDIA G-SYNC technology, NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, and MUX Switch.

Acer’s new laptops keep the long gaming sessions cool using the brand’s 5th-gen AeroBlade technology. Furthermore, they have liquid metal thermal grease and a Vector Heat Pipe. Both new models flaunt up to 64GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. Acer has loaded them with the Intel Killer Ethernet E3100G and Wi-Fi 6E.

Also, there’s a Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, dual USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD Card reader, and a 3.5 mm combo audio jack. Furthermore, both notebooks feature 90Whr batteries and weigh up to 3.3kg.

Coming to the pricing, the Predator Helio Neo 16 AI model will go on sale in North America in April. It will be available at a starting price tag of $1,899.99. Acer will offer the Helio Neo 18 AI at a starting price of $2,199.99 in North America in May. Acer will start selling them in EMEA regions starting from May.
