Every year at Mobile World Congress (MWC), Google hosts “Android Avenue” as a way to showcase new features in Android and its services, as well as to highlight partner devices. And in this showcase, I just love looking at the adorable Android figures scattered throughout.
Android Avenue is mostly about Google’s AI features this year, but that hasn’t stopped the company from staging a delightful experience full of Android devices and Android figures both big and small. This time last year was my first time attending MWC, and one of the highlights was seeing the attention to detail in Google’s “booth,” especially the little Android figures all over the place.
In traveling to MWC 2025, I was excited to check out the Android presence at the show again, and it was pretty fun to see little Android figures all over the place.
Google’s booth has three huge Android figures. One with a Gemini balloon, one with some abstract art, one with a McLaren tracksuit (last year, the company had a McLaren car on site), and one as an ice cream cone. These just scratch the surface, though. In each of Google’s demo buildings, there are themed Androids throughout.
The Gemini building includes an Android chef alongside Google’s demo about how Gemini integrates with Home. Two more can be found alongside a Gemini Live demo, one rappeling from a book and the other on a desk. In the final room where you get a demo of Google’s new Gemini Live features powered by Astra, there’s an Android figure making pottery, going along with the demo where Google shows using Gemini Live to have a conversation about pottery finishes.

Another building offers a Circle to Search translation demo where you get a serving of gelato at the end, and there are little Androids at each station where you’ll get a demo of Gemini’s integration with apps like YouTube and Keep. There are even Androids here showing the different gelato flavors.

Finally, another building shows off demos of Quick Share, Cast, and Theft Protection, and there are more figures throughout.
The fun extends to the decor and the rest of the show floor, too. There was a fun little Android bench and signage around “Android Alley.” Samsung’s booth also had Android figures on display.

Perhaps the most fun, though, is the “Partner Walk,” where attendees can collect pins from various Android-related booths. Brands such as Samsung, Honor, Tecno, and others have these pins which you can get after viewing a demo. Google has upheld this tradition with pins for years, and it was an incredibly fun part of my first MWC last year. I got to explore the show and collect each pin over the course of the first two days of the show.
Google puts the pins on display at its booth, where attendees can pick up their guidebook and first pins.

MWC 2025 runs through March 6 and if you have a chance to attend, definitely take some time to check out the Android presence.
