The Vivo X200 Ultra is coming in April, and its camera sensors have just been revealed. The confirmation comes via a seemingly-official teaser image shared via Weibo.
The Vivo X200 Ultra camera sensors have just been revealed
If you check out the image below, you’ll see the image itself. You can see the phone from its right side, and the sensors listed above it. First and foremost, the Vivo X200 Ultra already appeared on TENAA, so we know what to expect out of its design.
It will resemble the Vivo X200 Pro quite a bit. You can expect a flat frame all around, along with a large camera oreo on the back. That camera module will protrude on the back, as you can see, and have two separate layers.
An action button will sit on the right side too
All of the phone’s physical keys will sit on the right-hand side, along with a rumored action button, or whatever the company ends up calling it. That customizable button will be placed on the right side too.
With that being said, the Vivo X200 Ultra will feature two Sony LYT-818 sensors on the back, and Samsung’s ISOCELL HP9 sensor. That’s exactly what was rumored thus far, and what we expected.
So, you’ll have two large 1/1.28-inch sensors (Sony LYT-818) for the main and ultrawide cameras. The ISOCELL HP9 is a 200-megapixel camera sensor that will be used for the periscope telephoto camera with a macro function.
Vivo will use the main camera sensor at a 35mm focal length by default
Vivo is rumored to do something interesting here, however. It will use the main camera with a 1.5x zoom by default (35mm focal length). The ultrawide camera will be set to 1x by default (23-24mm focal length). You’ll be able to digitally move to other focal lengths within the camera UI, though.
That periscope telephoto camera will be the same as on the Vivo X200 Pro. It is a 1/1.4-inch sensor that we’re looking at here, and it will offer a 3.7x optical zoom.
This phone is coming to China mid-to-late April, while we’re still not sure if it will launch globally or not.
