The OnePlus 13R is getting a routine update that aims to fix a few stability issues on the company’s latest budget device. The update does include on unique improvement to the recycle bin function.
A recent post on the official OnePlus forum details a new update that’s slowly rolling out the OnePlus 13R. The 13R was released at the beginning of the year and has since done a fine job of improving on the 12R that came before it.
The update brings a few key improvements to overall stability in OxygenOS 15.0.0.501. The changelog notes the camera is getting some overall stability fixes, as well as network solutions like Wi-Fi and cellular comms. Those all fall within the realm of a general security patch, which comes once every couple of months or so.
This update for the OnePlus 13R also brings a change to the recycle bin. Apparently, the recycle bin now has a quick delete function to get rid of notes, messages, and files quickly. It’s unclear how the function will work, but the add sounds promising from a cleanup perspective.
OnePlus notes the update is now rolling out in India, with more regions to see the update soon. OnePlus’ OTA is incremental and will roll out at a faster pace as time goes on. At the time of writing this, the update has been available for just one day.
