IOS 18.4 Is Coming In Early April With New Apple Intelligence Features

Earlier this week, Apple launched its most affordable iPhone model dubbed the iPhone 16e as the successor to 2022’s iPhone SE variant. Soon after launching the new iPhone, the Cupertino tech giant updated its iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia web pages to provide a new timeline on when the next updates to these platforms will launch. Apple’s website now suggests that iOS 18.4 will drop in early April with new Apple Intelligence features.

Apple could release the first beta of the iOS 18.4 update very soon

Apple already revealed that the next update to the iOS 18 version will arrive at some point in April, and now it has provided a narrower timeline for the rollout in early April. The company hasn’t yet released the first beta version of the iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4 updates.

However, we are expecting the first beta for the iPhone OS to start rolling out as early as next week or in the first week of March. The first beta will reveal everything we can expect from the public rollout that’s coming in April.

Apple will introduce new Apple Intelligence features in the iOS 18.4 update

According to reports, Apple will finally release the upgraded version of the Siri assistant that incorporates Apple Intelligence with the iOS 18.4 update. However, some contradicting reports also indicate that Apple may need to delay the new Siri to continue working out the bugs and issues.

Apple has already promised three Apple Intelligence functionalities for Siri. It will have personal context to better understand and respond to requests, the ability to do more in and between applications, and on-screen awareness to answer requests that involve the content a user is looking at.

Furthermore, in the iOS 18.4 update, Apple Intelligence will add support for Chinese (Simplified), English (India, Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish languages. We will have more information in a matter of days, so watch this space for regular updates.
