HONOR Magic V4 Foldable Could Launch Sooner Than Expected

The HONOR Magic V4 foldable smartphone could launch sooner than expected, at least based on a new rumor. This info comes from Fixed Focus Digital, a Chinese tipster.

The tipster claims that the phone will launch either at the end of May or in early June. The HONOR Magic V3, on the other hand, was made official on July 12. It launched in China then, and it has seen its global debut at IFA 2024 in Berlin.

We’re not sure, but this change in the release cycle could have been caused by OPPO. The OPPO Find N5 is the company’s upcoming foldable that will launch in a couple of days, on February 20.

That device will take over the title of the thinnest foldable smartphone around. It will trump the HONOR Magic V3, and deliver a number of other compelling features, such as 50W wireless charging, a trio of water resistance ratings, a lighter build, and so on.

OPPO revealed a lot of information about the device already. And yes, a global variant of the phone is also launching on February. It will be interesting to see how is HONOR planning to compete.
