Several Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro users have already received the new update, which ditches the old hassle of turning it on while recording every single video.
The Always-on Video Boost feature will impact your Pixel’s storage space
While many Pixel users are hailing the new Video Boost update as a welcome change, the always-on feature could impact storage space on your smartphone unit. This functionality records videos in 4K resolution by default. Users can switch to full HD resolution to reduce processing time and storage usage. However, they will have to remember to change the resolution of every video, which might be a challenge.
