The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge’s launch is fast approaching, and some of its specifications just got confirmed. The phone’s listing on Geekbench is to thank for that, as it appeared under the ‘Samsung SM-S937B’ model number.
If you check out the image below, you’ll see the listing itself. The phone managed to score 2,806 points in the single-core, and 8,416 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench.
The listing also reveals that the phone runs Android 15, as expected. Samsung’s One UI 7 skin will come pre-installed on top of Google’s OS, as is the case with the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
It is also revealed that the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy will fuel the device. It’s not specifically mentioned, but the SoC details are laid out, all but the name, basically. That was to be expected, though.
The device will feature 12GB of RAM, just like two of its siblings
The last piece of information that Geekbench reveals is the RAM count. The model that appeared here has 12GB of RAM. We’re guessing that’s LPDDR5X RAM, as the other three models offer LPDDR5X RAM. Chances are that this will be the only RAM variant of the Galaxy S25 Edge.
Samsung teased the Galaxy S25 Edge and its design during the first Unpacked event of the year last month. The company’s representative did confirm that the phone will launch “around April”, while some rumors said that May will be the launch month.
The device is tipped to feature a 3,900mAh battery and a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display. It seems like it will have the same display as the Galaxy S25+, at least from what we’ve seen thus far.
What’s interesting is that a 200-megapixel main camera could be included, probably the same one that the Galaxy S25 Ultra rocks. This smartphone will be only 4.85mm thick, by the way, and lighter than the vanilla Galaxy S25.
