The OnePlus 13R has started receiving a new OxygenOS 15 update, bringing camera improvements and AI translation features. OnePlus is similarly pushing a new OxygenOS 15 update to last year’s OnePlus Nord 4 that improves the look and feel of existing AI features and fixes a known issue.

The OxygenOS 15.0.0.406 update for the OnePlus 13R is currently rolling out in batches to global, European, North American, and Indian units. Speaking of changes, the new OxygenOS 15 update for the OnePlus 13R bumps its Android security patch level to January 2025. The new update also improves the camera performance and stability of third-party cameras for a better user experience.
It also improves Wi-Fi stability, ensuring a better connectivity experience. If you’ve been eagerly waiting for AI translation features on your OnePlus 13R, you are in luck. Once updated, you can get the translation of speech in real-time on your OnePlus 13R. You can access the translation feature from your earphones too, similar to the Galaxy Buds 3 series’ feature on Galaxy phones.
You can also see the translation of each speaker in Split View, thanks to the face-to-face translation feature. That’s not all; you can even start face-to-face translation by tapping on select headphones. After you do that, the translation of one language will play on the phone’s speaker, while the other language’s translation will do so in the headphones.
The new OxygenOS 15 update for the Indian model of the OnePlus 13R comes with firmware version CPH2691_15.0.0.406(EX01). The European and global models of the device are getting this update with firmware version CPH2645_15.0.0.406(EX01). Finally, owners of the OnePlus 13R in North America are receiving this update with the firmware version CPH2647_15.0.0.406(EX01).
The OnePlus Nord 4 is also receiving a new OxygenOS 15 update
Besides the OnePlus 13R, OnePlus is also pushing a new OxygenOS 15 update to the OnePlus Nord 4. The 15.0.0.500 OTA for last year’s Nord phone includes the January 2025 security update. The update brings an iOS-compatible Touch to Share feature that enables Nord 4 users to share photos and files to iPhones with a touch.
On top of that, the update adds a new feature to the Photos app that enables using personalized watermarks. Per the changelog, the update further “improves the look and feel of Audio Summary, Documents AI, Notes AI, and Call Summary for visual consistency.” If you’ve been annoyed by apps lagging on your OnePlus Nord 4, the issue has now been fixed. All you have to do is update your device as soon as the new update pops up.
Similar to the OnePlus 13R, the new update is available in multiple regions. The Indian model of the OnePlus Nord 4 is getting the update with firmware version CPH2661_15.0.0.500(EX01). Moreover, the European and global models receive this firmware with the build number CPH2663_15.0.0.500(EX01).
