Threads Now Allows You To Share Your Custom Feeds
Meta-owned Threads is one of the fastest-growing social networking platforms in the world. The social media app recently reached 320 million monthly active users. Since its launch, Threads has continuously introduced new features to attract more users to grow the user base. Recently, the app added a new ‘media’ tab and photo tagging feature. Now, a new feature allows Threads users to share their custom feeds.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the new feature and also shared a clip about how to use it. Threads users now have an option to share their custom feeds with other people. It allows other Threads users to see and save the feeds you’ve created with all the accounts you’ve chosen.
The new feature has made it easier for you to share your interests with your friends. “Shared feeds are a new way for you to connect with people around similar interests and find profiles and conversations that are relevant to you”, the company said in a blog post.
Here’s how you can make your custom feed public
To share your custom feed, you’ll first have to make it public. To do this, Tap and hold your feed, which should show on the top menu. Then, select the “Edit feeds” option from the drop-down menu and switch on the “Public” toggle. Once your feed is public, other Threads users will be able to view it from a new “feeds” tab on your profile.
Now, to share your custom feed, tap the “View feed” option from the same “Edit feeds” menu. Then, press the “quote icon” to post a preview of your custom feed. Notably, you can also share your public feed with your friends using a link or DM. You can find your custom feed in the top tab of Thread’s home screen. Furthermore, you can also pin a shared feed to the home screen.
