The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has just made an appearance at Geekbench AI
Geekbench AI confirms that the phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. That is not a surprise to basically anyone. The model that appeared on Geekbench has 16GB of RAM on the inside.
That will certainly be the model that will hit global markets, as only one RAM variant is expected. In fact, Xiaomi could end up selling a 16GB RAM variant with 512GB of storage, globally.
The last piece of detail this listing revealed is that Android 15 will come out of the box. That much was to be expected as well. HyperOS 2.0 will run on top of Android 15, of course, even though that detail was not mentioned.
The phone is expected to launch later this month
Now, do note that this phone is expected to launch in both China and globally this month. February 26 is tipped to be the launch date in China, while the device is expected to make an appearance at MWC 2025 as part of its global launch.
It surfaced in a real-life photo not long ago, while its short hands-on video appeared yesterday. The device will have a huge camera oreo on the back, and it will seemingly adopt a quad micro-curved design.
A 1-inch type camera is expected to be included as its main camera, while a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera will also be a part of the offering. The device will also utilize a telephoto camera and an ultrawide camera, both of which will probably be 50-megapixel snappers.
Leica will once again be a part of the package, of course, while the device is tipped to utilize a 6,000mAh battery and 90W wired charging. 50W wireless charging will also be supported.
