Pixel 9a Reportedly Gets A Price Hike After All, But Only For The 256GB Variant

According to a new report, Google’s Pixel 9a will see a price hike after all, but only if you opt for more storage.

The Pixel 9a is set to launch earlier than ever and with some noteworthy updates including a bigger battery and a revamped design.

It was reported barely a month ago that the price for that wouldn’t be changing, with Pixel 9a set to start at $499. That’s still supposedly true, but the latest rumors are shedding further light on the Pixel 9a’s price.

Android Headlines reports that Pixel 9a will up its 256GB price to $599, effectively raising the price by $40. The Pixel 8a costs $559 for the 256GB model. The 128GB model would stick at $499, apparently. The same report also brings out Canadian price at $679 for 128GB and $809 for 256GB.

Pixel 9a is expected to launch in March 2025, which is coming up quickly.
