OnePlus Open 2’s Camera Module Could Have A Familiar Design
The OnePlus Open 2’s camera module could have a rather familiar design, based on a new leak. A tipster known as Experience more, shared a sketch of the camera module on Weibo.
If you check out the image below, you’ll see the image. He does mention the OPPO Find N5 here, but the OnePlus Open 2 is tipped to have the same exact design. Anyhow, those two phones are said to include a camera island that will look similar to what the OnePlus 13 is offering.
The tipster said that the LED flash will be in the lower right corner. The periscope telephoto camera will sit in the upper left corner. That leaves two other cutouts for the main and ultrawide cameras.
The source also notes that the protrusion won’t be huge. Yes, the camera island will protrude on the back, but apparently not as much as people would think.
If this info is accurate, the OnePlus Open 2 design that surface is inaccurate
If this information is accurate, then the OnePlus Open 2 design that surfaced recently is not accurate. That camera island looks notably different. There’s always a chance that the OPPO Find N5 and OnePlus Open 2 will look different, but that’s not as likely. We’ll have to wait and see.
What we do know is that the OPPO Find N5 will launch next month. The company’s CEO confirmed that the phone is coming in February and that it will become the thinnest foldable in the market.
Based on the leaked specs, these two smartphones will have an 8-inch main display and a 6.4-inch cover panel. Both will be OLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Elite will also be a part of the package.
A 5,700mAh battery is rumored, as is 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Three 50-megapixel cameras will sit on the back of the phone, while the top-end model will likely offer 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
