The IPhone 16E Might Launch In Just A Few Months
Right now, we’re still waiting for more information about the upcoming iPhone. No, not the iPhone 17; we’re talking about the next affordable model. Rumored to be called the iPhone 16E, this phone could have some impressive specs. Well, we may not have to wait long to see them. According to a new report, the iPhone 16E could launch in just a few months.
There’s still much we don’t know about this phone, but information is still trickling in about it. For example, there’s one rumor pointing to this phone using the Apple A18 chip. This is the same chip powering the iPhone 16, which is pretty substantial. It’s similar to how the Pixel A phones use Google’s Tensor chips. Along with that news, sources believe that this phone will come with 8GB of RAM, which is a lot for an iPhone.
As always, you’ll want to take this news with a grain of salt. We’re still dealing with rumored information. At this point, we don’t know when Apple will release its sub-$500 speed demon, but a leak from a pretty notable leaker might have just spilled the beans.
MajinBuOfficial posted a pretty short and sweet update on this phone. The phone, codenamed “Roma”, will be partially produced in India. Mass production will start “in the coming days,” as well. The most significant bit of information was that Apple will debut the device during an upcoming event in the Spring.
Phone Arena notes that this event will happen in March. If that’s the case, then it will debut the phone in just two months. However, if not, then it could happen in May. It could make more sense to announce the device in March, as May is only four months before the iPhone 17’s launch. Unveiling it in March will give the phone six months to settle in before the iPhone 17 announcement.
We’re still waiting for more information about this phone to come out. From what we know, the iPhone 17 will be a pretty good value, coming in at $499.
