Five Global Redmi Note 14 Smartphones Have Been Announced

Last year, Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi announced its new Note 14 series of phones. The original launch took place in China. If you’re living outside of China and want to get your hands on the phones, you’re in luck as the company has launched the Redmi Note 14 series for the global markets! These handsets are successors to the Note 13 series, devices that were announced in January 2024, globally.

There are five different models to choose from for the global launch of the Redmi Note 14 series. This includes the base Note 14, the Note 14 5G, the Note 14 Pro, the Note 14 Pro 5G, and the Note 14 Pro+ 5G. The differences between the phones lie in their hardware like cameras, battery, and chipset. Below is a breakdown of the phones for a quick refresher in case you forgot.

This is the base model of the Note 14 series. It sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits peak brightness. It boasts TÜV Rheinland-certified eye protection and features IP64 certification for both dust and water resistance.

Under the hood, the handset is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra processor. The base model has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, but there are options for an 8GB + 128GB model or 8GB + 256GB model. Users can expand on the storage up to 1TB.

It also comes with a 108MP AI-powered camera system with features like Dynamic shots and Dual video. The main 108MP sensor is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera. There is also a 20MP front camera, Dolby Atmos dual speakers, and expandable storage. Lastly, the Note 14 packs a 5,500mAh battery with support for 33W turbocharging.

Redmi Note 14 5G

Next up is the Redmi Note 14 5G. It features the same IP64 certification for dust and water resistance as the base model. It also comes with a similar 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The difference is its peak brightness tops out at 2,100 nits, making it slightly brighter than the regular Note 14.

The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra chipset. It comes with 6GB of base RAM but there are configurations that go up to 12GB. Base storage is also at 128GB but its expandable memory lets you spec it out to 1TB. It packs an AI-powered triple camera setup with a 108MP main camera accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro. There is also a 5,110mAh battery with 45W turbocharging.

Redmi Note 14 Pro

For those who want something a little more powerful with better cameras, the Note 14 Pro could be it. The phone sports the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has 1800 nits brightness and comes with a MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra processor chipset under the hood.

The Pro model is accompanied by 8GB of RAM but users can opt for the 12GB configuration. In terms of storage, there are 256GB and 512GB options to consider, but they are non-expandable, unlike the non-Pro models.

It has a larger 200MP camera sensor that also features AI-powered editing tools alongside dual video recording. It is paired with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera. Its battery is also decently sized at 5,500mAh with support for 45W charging.

Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G

Next up in the Pro lineup, we have the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. The protection rating of this phone is higher than the previous models at IP68. This means it has better water resistance.

It features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Note 14 Pro 5G’s display is also brighter and goes up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. Users can expect to find the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset under the hood, alongside a 5,110mAh battery with 45W turbocharging.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G comes with a base of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Users who need more RAM can opt for the 12GB model which comes with 256GB of storage or 512GB. Unlike the other Redmi phones, the storage isn’t expandable.

Its camera system is similar to the Pro version with a triple camera setup with a 200MP main. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro. There are also a bunch of AI tools like Circle to Search, AI Erase Pro, AI Image Expansion, Gemini, and more.

Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G

Last but not least is the Note 14 Pro+ 5G. This is the company’s top-of-the-line model as far as the Note 14 series is concerned. It features a more premium design with the use of vegan leather.

The handset features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and also tops out at 3,000 nits brightness.

This is also the only Note 14 handset not powered by a MediaTek chipset. Instead, users can look forward to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. In terms of RAM and storage, it is the same as the Pro 5G model. It has a base of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, but it goes up to 12GB RAM + 512GB of storage. While it uses the same 5,110mAh battery as the Pro 5G, it does support a much faster 120W HyperCharge. This allows users to charge the phone at a much quicker pace.

The handset uses a 200MP main camera with support for OIS and AI-powered photography and image editing tools. There is an accompanying 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera to round things off.
