The Premiere 5, Samsung’s Touchscreen Projector Is Back At CES 2025

Samsung has brought back something unique at CES 2025 that you may have already seen at last year’s conference. If you haven’t guessed yet, Samsung showed off The Premiere 5 touchscreen projector again at the ongoing CES in Las Vegas.

Samsung shows off The Premiere 5 touchscreen projector yet again at CES 2025

Samsung, in its official announcement, calls The Premiere 5 “the industry’s first most compact triple-laser ultra-short-throw (UST) projector.” If you are looking for specs, sadly there’s no official word from the company yet. However, Samsung last year said that The Premiere 5 could project up to a 100-inch image from 17 inches away.

So, it’s safe to assume the one unveiled at CES 2025 will work similarly. Enabling the Screen Off feature allows the 10W speaker to continue playing even when the image turns off. Mobile screen mirroring is another area where this touchscreen projector stands out. So, how’s all that possible?

This innovative touchscreen projector uses Samsung’s LightWARP technology to project images onto everyday objects like tables, etc. While the projecting part is neat, what you can do with the projected image is the real deal here.

Let’s say you projected something using The Premiere 5 on a surface. In the real world, you can interact with the projected image and its elements as you would with your phone’s touchscreen. In the video below, you can get a glimpse of its working.

The projector is quite compact and highly portable

In terms of design, The Premiere 5 is quite different than its bigger siblings, the Premiere 7 and Premiere 9 from last year. You can easily move it across your home for daily use and connect it to multiple devices without any hassle. Ideally, it should be a great choice for anyone looking for a portable projector for compact rooms. It’s worth noting that pricing and release timeline haven’t been announced yet.

Samsung has already made some major announcements at this year’s CES. If you haven’t caught up, the company showed off its different-sized QLED TVs, including one that even expands to 115 inches. Samsung has also unveiled a new gaming monitor that boasts a 40-inch 5K display. Well, these aren’t the only announcements; there are many more.
