Samsung Widely Rolling Out One UI 7 Update To These Older Galaxy Devices In The US

After a false start, Samsung is opening the floodgates to its One UI 7 update in the United States, with the update now widely available for a ton of different devices, including some older Galaxy generations.

Samsung started its One UI 7 stable rollout on April 10 in the US, but had to delay the rollout due to a mysterious bug. In the few weeks since, though, the company has really stepped on the gas pedal. The update is widely available to newer devices such as Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and more. It’s also been rolling out to older generation such as Galaxy S23 and the Z Fold 5 and Flip 5. Generations older than that saw the update trickling out in Korea late last month, but everything is now reaching the US market.

Over the past 48 hours, Samsung has started rolling out One UI 7 to its 2021, 2022, and remaining 2023 Galaxy devices widely in the US. This includes the following devices:

  • Galaxy S22
  • Galaxy S22+
  • Galaxy S22 Ultra
  • Galaxy S21
  • Galaxy S21+
  • Galaxy S21 Ultra
  • Galaxy S24 FE
  • Galaxy Z Fold 4
  • Galaxy Z Flip 4
  • Galaxy Z Fold 3
  • Galaxy Z Flip 3

There are still some Galaxy tablets waiting, and the rollout has yet to go wide for Galaxy A devices, but the flagship rollout is effectively complete at this point.

Your results may vary depending on your carrier, but even the holdout that was AT&T has finally stepped up with its rollout expanding to more devices. AT&T in particular was holding back updates for even Samsung’s 2024 releases, but things are finally moving at this point.

Have you installed One UI 7 yet?
