Mixing and matching emojis has basically become a big part of how we talk online these days. Gboard’s Emoji Kitchen — a fun little tool that lets you mash emojis together into custom stickers — has gotten pretty popular. Now, Google is making it even easier to dive into all the crazy combos you can make, rolling out a new way to browse everything with just one tap across a bunch of Pixel devices.

Spice up your chats with funky emojis
The revamped “Browse” setup for Gboard’s Emoji Kitchen first popped up with the December 2024 Pixel Feature Drop. Now, as per 9to5Google, it’s widely showing up for more people. When you pull up the emoji keyboard in a text box, the Emoji Kitchen carousel looks a bit smaller. Plus, instead of the old settings icon at the end, you’ll see a new arrow or a little grid button you can tap to dive into all the combinations.
When you tap the arrow icon, you’ll be taken to a full-on “Browse” page where you can check out every emoji mashup available. When you pick one, it shows you exactly which two emojis made it, and there’s a “Send” button right there to drop it straight into whatever you’re typing.
Quick picks made easy
There’s also a floating action button down in the bottom-right corner that pulls up the regular emoji picker. There, you’ll see your recents and all the usual categories. Once you tap an emoji, it instantly shows you all the mashup stickers that use it.
Unfortunately, the new “Browse” setup is still a Pixel-only thing — phones and the Pixel Tablet included. After a few months of beta testing, it’s finally rolling out to everyone with the stable Gboard 15.1 update.
