Right on schedule, Samsung has started the One UI 7 rollout for Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6, with more devices to come.
After a delay of nearly 6 months compared to when Google first released Android 15, Samsung has finally started the rollout of One UI 7 to its Galaxy devices, starting with its 2024 flagships. The Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra are first in line with Samsung having started the rollout today, April 7, in South Korea.
The update weighs in at roughly 5.2GB for users who are upgrading from One UI 6.1.1 to One UI 7.0, with the firmware version number being S928NKSU4BYCG as captured by SamMobile.
The update is also rolling out to Galaxy Z Fold 6 (F956NKSU2BYCK), Flip 6 (F741NKSU2BYCJ), and the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition (F958NKSU2BYCK) which released in select regions last year. These updates also come with the April 2025 security patch.

Samsung is likely to begin the rollout in the coming days for Galaxy S24 FE, the Galaxy Tab S10 series, and last-gen Galaxy devices soon after.
Meanwhile, other portions of the globe will still be waiting a few days for the One UI 7 update. In the US, the rollout is set to begin on April 10.
