Google Pixel 9a Leaks On YouTube Ahead Of Next Week’s Announcement

Next week, Google is set to announce the Pixel 9a, as we previously confirmed. However, ahead of the announcement, it appears someone has gotten their hands on the Pixel 9a and have posted a quick short showing off the phone and some camera samples. It honestly, looks pretty good for a phone we expect to be priced around $500.
The YouTube took the Pixel 9a to a Lucha Libre showdown, and in the video, the phone is shown at the event, and then shown recording video of the event. Obviously, with this being on YouTube, there is some compression. But it does look pretty good from what we can see.
Leak confirms Pixel 9a’s design changes
This leak also serves as more confirmation of the Pixel 9a new design language. It’s following the regular Pixel 9 series lineup, mostly. However, it does have a nearly flush backside, instead of the camera bar. It’s also on the smaller size, with a 6.3-inch display, though it does have some rather thick bezels.
We’ve also reported that the Pixel 9a will sport a new 48-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel ultrawide. It will also sport a 5,100mAh capacity battery, which would make it the largest in any Pixel phone ever. Which is pretty surprising, and has us excited for the battery life, as the Pixel 9 series already offers some pretty good battery life. We are also expecting the price to remain the same at $499 this year. Instead of going up, like the Pixel 9 did last year. That will create a bigger gap between the Pixel 9a and Pixel 9.
Google is supposedly going to announce the Pixel 9a on March 19, with the devices shipping out to buyers on March 26. So we won’t have to wait much longer to find out how good (or bad) the camera is on the Pixel 9a.
