Samsung Rolling Out March 2025 Security Update To These Galaxy Devices

Even as Samsung is working to release One UI 7, Galaxy devices running the previous version are receiving continued security updates. This is a constantly updated list of Galaxy devices getting Samsung’s March 2025 security update.

Samsung Galaxy March 2025 update — What’s new?

Even prior to February, it was expected that One UI 7 would come as a security patch that would introduce not only bug and security fixes but also an entirely new OS version. That wasn’t the case then, and it isn’t the case now, as Samsung is only just rolling out One UI 7 beta to many Galaxy devices.

The update that’s beginning to roll out now is Samsung’s March 2025 security patch. This patch sets out to fix 11 “critical” issues Samsung has found. There are 40 “high” priority items in this patch, as well. Security patches don’t generally bring big feature updates, and this one flies by those rules as well. The March 2025 update is small and can be downloaded via the Software update page in the Settings.
