Exact Galaxy S25 Edge Weight & Approximate Pricing Revealed

The exact weight of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has been revealed by a trusted tipster. In addition to that, he gave us a pricing estimate of the phone, so now we know what to expect.

A well-known tipster just revealed the Galaxy S25 Edge’s exact weight

The tipster in question is Ice Universe, who shared the information via X. He claims that the Galaxy S25 Edge will weigh 162 grams. That is the exact weight of the Galaxy S25, which is a notably smaller smartphone.

This reveal does kind of disprove his earlier theory that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be lighter than the Galaxy S25. The two phones will offer the exact same weight, based on his latest piece of information. Perhaps there’s a half-gram difference or something like that.

In any case, considering that this phone is expected to include a 6.7-inch display, that’s quite impressive. We can see how it’s possible, though. The phone will be immensely thin at 5.84mm, and it will include a relatively small 4,000mAh battery. Small for its size, that’s for sure

It will have a similar price tag as the Galaxy S25+

Another piece of information that Ice Universe revealed has to do with the phone’s pricing. He says that the Galaxy S25 Edge will have a similar price tag as the Galaxy S25+. That means it will cost around $1,000.

Just for comparison’s sake, the Galaxy S25+ is 7.2mm thick. The Galaxy S25 Edge will trump that quite considerably at 5.84mm. Still, even the Galaxy S25+ is extremely thin, and it feels that way in the hand. So this move by Samsung is a bit weird, especially considering the battery capacity sacrifice.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is coming in April, based on everything we’ve seen thus far. We have to wait a bit more in order for Samsung to fully reveal the device, even though we already know what it will look like.
